Stayed at The Loch Ness Inn over Easter. The reviews will tell you it has not been open that long. You wonder if there is a catch? There is not. This place really is exceptional in just about every way... the welcome, the rooms, the food, the decoration, the engaging staff. Could we find fault? Well if I tell you I can normally find fault within 10 seconds of first contact. It took me until bedtime here. And that was only because the rooms are above the restaurant and you can hear a bit of noise. But really I am being very picky to say it. The only bad news is ... if you don't book it very soon when Mr tourist rating man visits and rates it five star (which he will) you will find it very difficult to get a room. If I return to the highlands it will be to here if the same people are running it because it truly is an exceptional little place.

“Total gem of a place!”

This is a total gem of a place, I can't believe we were lucky enough to find it and also we were privileged in getting to know Kasia and Callum the managers. The room was lovely, great shower, fantastically comfortable bed - everything you would want. The evening meal was just great, we had prawns from Applecross to start followed by lamb. Plus an excellent bottle of malbec. We were lucky to stay up talking to Kasia and Callum - they are a fantastic couple and all their staff were brilliant too. Can't recommend this little inn highly enough - we will most definitely be back - just great.
